Actually my family considers me a freak of nature due to my regular rigorous workouts and strict dietary habits. I have been a personal trainer for a few years and until recently, thought I had the whole nutrition thing nailed. It wasn’t until my son was born that I began to listen to the faint nagging voice inside me that had always been urging me to look deeper into current eating trends and what was beyond the food labels. I have to admit that I feel deceived. All this time I have been faithfully eating my aspartame, pasturiezed, low fat, enriched, vitamin filled ‘health’ food, and to what end? An unbalanced digestive tract, a roller coaster of hormones, and a sickly immune system… I knew there had to be other answers, thank God for the internet. And my search for safe sugar substitutes has lead me to this site, a haven of hope, a community of others going against the bleached enriched grain.
