Lately I have had a bee in my bonnet, a mission, a purpose. After seeing the postive affects of our new eating habits in my little family, I have been driven to continue to make a positive impact in the world of nutrition. My husband, who for the last four years of our marriage, has had obviously poor dietary habits, has embraced this new lifestyle fully. He loves my roasted chicken, Kefir shakes, and homemade Mayonaisse. He admits that fast food makes him sick now. He even comments to his buddies about how he believes that organic food isn’t just a hype, and that Western Medical Doctors don’t know it all. You have no idea how amazing it is to hear him say that. And to add to that, neither one of us has been sick since we stripped our cupboards of nutritionally void food-stuff, and replaced it with veggies fruits, and all things whole and natural! This is incredible, because our lifestyle is insane! We’re new parents, he works at night, I work part time during the day and together we have a small online business as well. And yet, we have energy and stamina to make it through the day! So now I’m out to conquer the world. Everywhere I go, I spread a bit of my new found passion, true health. My clients at work hear it, and they are also tossing their prepackaged food in the garbage. My parents have switched to organic and my mom has her own garden. My friends are all buying Sally’s book and checking out this website and others. The people at my church are opening their eyes at how they can start to have a positive impact on the world and in their kitchens.
I feel like I’m part of a revolution, like a missionary spreading the good news! I am sad that it took me this many years to discover the error of my ways, and I am bent on helping others see the truth as well!
So go! My healthy new friends, Spread the Word!!! It’s a sad dietary world out there, and we have the answers to help them!
My favorite Kefir shake
1 cup homemade Kefir
1 cup frozen berries
1 banana
1 raw organic egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBS raw unheated honey
1 tsp unrefined virgin coconut oil or almond butter
Blend and enjoy!

Hey there, I just wanted to encourage you in your families healthy eating habits. You have also inspired me to go back to the way I used to eat before I became so busy with my family. Packaged food, such as biscuits etc just seem so much easier. But I am noticing an emotional affect on one of my children and so am searching for some great tasty recipes for children. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Lacey,
I haven’t tried kefir although i know I should. I like the sound of the shake though.. I already do the other ingredients just not the kefir YET
I have the book, it has some fabulous recipes in it. Eating take away is no option for me these days.
